AWARDS

1997: Won ‘Best Research Award’ at the World Federation of Neuroscience Nurses Conference in Amsterdam. The research study examined doctor-nurse communication within a Neurology Unit and led to the development of a collaborative practice protocol.

2013: Awarded a £10,000 research bursary from Thames Valley Research Network to commence the first year of my PhD course.

2015 & 2016: Awarded an Oxford University Hospital Staff Recognition Award for ‘Excellence’ linked to patient care and leadership.

2016: Awarded a Clinical Nursing Scholarship from the Worshipful Company of Barbers
